Happy New Year, Happy New Ventures
Just as the New Year celebrations are mellowing down, I am trying to get back into a productive groove with my projects and my writing. I am yet to iron out all the details but the overall goals and objectives have all been aligned and mapped out for 2025.
The best part of 2024 was spent figuring out the next steps for me and my new venture, Etherion Consulting. I call it the best part because it is the only time I have had in the last decade to truly reflect on my career and skillset appreciatively and critically.
The results weren’t pretty but then it gave me a lot to work on and improve to set up the upcoming year for success or more improvement, we will see.
Etherion Consulting, Data Engineering & Analytics for Startups in 2025
The reflective moments of 2024 asked some glaring and tough questions. It took a lot of self-assessment to come up with anything that resembled an answer for me. The answer came in the form of a name – Etherion.
Etherion Consulting LLP to be more specific.
The name Etherion was picked out of thin air. Just something that came to me and my partner from ether.
We knew we wanted to work on something meaningful and something that aligned with our beliefs. We had the name, now we just had to decide the direction. It had to come from the intersection of our skills, a Venn diagram of skills & abilities.
Everything intersects at our core – It’s Data
As GenAI, AgenticAI, LAM, and LLM, no matter the name, the mainstream tech is trying to popularize, it is apparent that AI is going nowhere. Data sits at the core of the AI.
Going back to the skillsets acquired over the years working in mainstream tech, it was only fair to participate in the monstrosity of AI in some capacity.
Some housekeeping between the partners of Etherion Consulting and some back and forth of ideas, we narrowed it down to Data Engineering and Analysis.
What is Data Engineering and Analysis like at Etherion Consulting?
The answer may not be drastically different but it has its own flavor that we tried to cook up in our labs here at Etherion.
It has a blend of decades’ worth of Program Management experience working in E-Commerce & Travel Insurance mixed with Healthcare Data Engineering that has had a significant impact on businesses achieving their targets while maintaining the course of the original strategy.
Anyone who has worked on formulating a product or organizational strategy will know it is almost impossible to achieve the targets without a change in strategy. It’s an iterative process.
Be it Cloud Integration, Data Integration & Migration, Data Quality Solutions, or expertise with niche tools like Apache Airflow, DBT, Azure, AWS & GCP, we will work with the team to find best possible solution.
Etherion’s approach to scalable Data Engineering Solutions
Now we are getting to the business end of this post. Rather than talking and writing endlessly about the process and approach of Etherion, My team and I are working on building case studies that will showcase the process and approach and in the due course give you the audience and potential clients a chance to provide feedback.
I know it is not a unique way, but at Etherion, we are trying to be more collaborative and action-oriented.
Feedbacks Appreciated, Collaboration Expected
Here are the links to our initial attempts at case studies which we will keep on improving and building more on top of it.
Our core subjects are Data Analytics and Data Engineering, together, they should help any early-stage startups and small to medium-scale businesses derive actionable insights from their data.

As the technology landscape has been quite tough, we thought it only makes sense to provide some insights into the layoff scene of Tech World.
Case Study2 – https://www.etherionconsulting.com/data-engineering-case-study-insurance-data/
Data Engineering is a crucial aspect of creating insights from data, and I want to make that more of an interactive topic here at Etherion Consulting and with our audience and clients.
Conclusion
All in all, this new year is bringing a lot of promising changes to me personally and professionally. Etherion Consulting LLP sits at the center of it all and I am happy to share that with all of you.
