I wanted to learn about the journeys of relatively known writers and how they go about their day.
So, If you are at all interested in learning about how a published author goes about their day, here are the 3 podcasts most worth your time:
1. Write Now With Scrivener
The long-form writers reading this post will immediately recognize this name.
Scrivener is a brilliant app that makes writing novels and short stories a thoroughly enjoyable process. The app provides all the equipment to research, plot, write, edit and publish a manuscript all within itself.
The podcast covers an author's experience with the app and the way it helps them shape their day.
2. The Writer Files
As the name suggests, it is the writer files (cue the background of x-files).
It covers the routines and nuances of daily writing. The majorly successful and published writers from New York Times, Award-winning authors and a few Celebrated ones discuss their writing process, inspirations and the everyday struggles that come with completing a draft of a novel.
The episodes have a surprisingly calming effect on you.

The last one on the list and somewhat a show under the radar.
It is thoroughly enjoyable to listen to their routines and the things that keep authors motivated.
In a podcast world, there are and will be many other shows that will capture a writer's daily routine.
