Not so quaint life of Melbourne through the lens of a reluctant tourist
Life in Melbourne city, surrounded by street art and sunsets
A wonderful weekend in Melbourne
Have you ever been to a city and immediately realized that you have to keep up with the personality of the place?
I am sure the answer might be yes for many travellers.
The question is to decipher the kind of personality that you are dealing with on your travels.
The Rebels without a Cause
Street art is the purest form of rebellion that can be done with art as a medium. Melbourne has streets full of graffiti paying tribute to local as well as international heroes.

One thing about street art is that it is always in places that are left to govern themselves. The smell in that lane was anything but bearable.
As they say - Art On, World Off
When the day comes to an end, the city comes to life. I was about to experience Melbourne in the haze of sunset.
Sunsets are a sign to live a little on the edge. From the city center to the port side of inner-city Melbourne, the evenings really came alive with people and weekend vibes.
The walk around the riverside, music leaking through the street-side joints where the drinks were flowing, and spirits were raised.
I chose to walk around the port to grab a last glimpse of the sunset and headed straight for a drink by the lake.
The city was just coming back to life.
