Hola España, Exploring the lanes & culture in Madrid
With Cervezas, Croquettes, Paella and some Flamenco
Hi Folks,
Just going through my archives of photos from my time in Europe, I came across this album, one of my first photo adventures with my Fujifilm X-E4.
There was this dull period throughout the week, and with work assignments piling up for my partner, I got lucky when she had to travel to Madrid for the conference. While she touched up and retouched her slide decks, I was enthusiastically packing my camera and shades to click some pictures in the capital of Espana.

The lanes of Madrid are ever so filled with people, no matter the hour of the day. I was able to find a quiet time early in the morning to click the bylanes of the city in its elements.
As the afternoon set in, I was ready to try some Paella and drink some beer, and relax.

Madrid is a busy city. I got the full experience of it during my evening stroll around the parks and museums, through the busy shopping district. People are dressed up, traffic is buzzing, and if your stops are not preplanned, good luck getting anywhere in the city.
Refreshing coffee and strolls in the park are a must, while I took in the sunset and waited for the day to settle in.

Finally, ending the night with some flamenco and drinks was the perfect end. I was mesmerised by the talent and very focused, and the people in the audience were so involved in the performance.
When they talk about tradition & culture, this is what they talk about.
Until next time!
