True Crime Podcasts - My Pandemic Fascination

Here are two that are still keeping me hooked

There are a lot of podcasts on the subject of True Crime.

Honestly, I've tried listening to most of them but there are two that I keep coming back to and more so look forward to listening to them during my free time.

My fascination with podcasts started during the pandemic and these two have kept it going so far in the crime genre.

Here are two podcasts I recommend:

Crime Junkie by Ashley Flowers

These are real stories.

These stories are a narration of closed and/or open cases that give an account of a life that was cut short in a brutal and horrific manner.

The narration is warm and amiable like a discussion among friends.

The research by Ashley Flowers and the Audiochuck team is thorough and is accompanied by charity work and follow-up of cold cases. It helps the families of the victims of these cold cases to find a conclusion to their struggle.

It also provides listeners with a chance to contribute.

Darknet Diaries by Jack Rhysider

As a Technology Enthusiast, this was a no-brainer for me.

As soon as I discovered this podcast, I was hooked. The dark side of the internet is a fascinating and scary place, one that not many are aware of or get a chance to explore.

The real people that deal with the threat of cybercrime give us an account of the incidents they faced and handled.

Final Words

As a beginner, I had to skim through a lot of podcasts that are top-rated and consistently make it to the top of the charts.

Few held my interest for a considerable amount of time.

The spectrum of human behaviour, in the physical and digital world, witnessed through the stories in these podcasts will leave you astonished and gasping for more.
